Prince's Golf Club (Dunes - Himalayas)

Princes Golf Club, situated on the Kent coastline, offers a historic links challenge. Founded in 1906, the club's original course hosted the 1932 Open Championship, famously won by Gene Sarazen. The links was significantly impacted by World War II, leading to a redesign in the 1950s by Guy Campbell (Sir Guy Campbell) and John Morrison, resulting in the current 27-hole layout comprising the Shore, Dunes, and Himalayas nines. More recently, Mackenzie & Ebert (Martin Ebert) have carried out further enhancements to the courses. The combination of the Dunes and Himalayas nines provides a robust test of links golf, featuring rolling terrain, strategic bunkering, and coastal breezes. Princes Golf Club has also served as a venue for Final Qualifying for The Open Championship from 2018 to 2022 and is recognised in Top 100 rankings for Great Britain and Ireland.
