Chestfield Golf Club, situated in Kent, England, offers a golf experience steeped in history. The course, originally known as Shrub Hill, began construction in late 1923 and was designed by James Braid, a five-time Open Champion, and Abe Mitchell, opening for play in May 1924. The layout is an 18-hole downland course set in the countryside between the Forest of Blean and the coast, providing views towards the sea. Over the years, modifications have been made, including a redesign of six holes by Donald Steel that opened in 2000 due to the rerouting of the A299. The course features undulating fairways and greens, demanding precision and strategy. While it has hosted Open competitions and qualifying events, it is not noted as a regular or current Open Qualifying location. The clubhouse, a notable feature, dates back to the 15th century.
