Ponteland Golf Club

Established in 1927 as a 9-hole layout and expanded to 18 holes in 1931 under the design of Harry Fernie, son of 1883 Open champion Willie Fernie, Ponteland Golf Club offers a pleasant parkland test in Northumberland, England. The course is routed across gently undulating terrain with tree-lined fairways. Notable holes include a stretch of short par fours from the 3rd to the 5th, the lengthy par-4 8th, and the par-3 15th. The course is known for its well-maintained condition, particularly the greens. Ponteland has a history of hosting county and regional events, including the EGU Northern Counties Mens Qualifying Championship.
