North Hants Golf Club

North Hants Golf Club, established in 1904, is a heathland course in Fleet, Hampshire, known for its challenging layout amidst pine and silver birch trees, rhododendrons, heather, broom, and gorse. Originally designed by James Braid, the course has seen significant architectural input from Harry Colt, Tom Simpson, and Donald Steel, resulting in a blend of challenging holes that require accuracy from the tee. The club has a rich history, initially conceived as an American-style country club with extensive sports facilities. It has also served as a Regional Qualifying venue for The Open Championship. The course is particularly well-regarded for its demanding par-3 and challenging finishing holes.
