Meon Valley, a former Marriott Hotel and Country Club, is situated in the quiet Hampshire countryside of England. The Championship Meon Course, designed by J. Hamilton Stutt and established in 1976, is an 18-hole parkland course set within an ancient English oak forest. It is known for its undulating terrain, tight, tree-lined fairways, substantial bunkers, and strategically placed natural water hazards. The course demands challenging tee shots and equally precise approaches to its well-guarded greens. While water features on only a few holes, it is notably a hazard on the downhill par-3 12th, which plays to a water-surrounded green. The back nine is slightly more open than the front, offering pleasant views of the rural surroundings. Meon Valley was Hampshire's only PGA European Tour venue and has twice hosted the Phillips PFA golf classic. There is also a nine-hole Valley course on-site.
