Mentmore Golf and Country Club (Rothschild Course)

Mentmore Golf and Country Club, established in 1992, was set on land that was formerly part of the Mentmore Towers estate, built for Baron Meyer Amschel de Rothschild. The club featured two 18-hole courses, the Rothschild and the Rosebery, designed by Robert Sandow. The Rothschild Course is a parkland course with a par of 72 and measures around 6,800 yards. Water hazards play a significant role on the Rothschild, particularly on the opening nine holes. The club is no longer in operation, having ceased trading in 2015. There is no information readily available to suggest that Mentmore Golf and Country Club has been used as an Open Qualifying location in the past.
