Nestled in the picturesque Chiltern Hills of Bedfordshire, England, Caddington Golf Club has a history dating back to 1985 when it first opened as a 9-hole course. It was later expanded to 18 holes, completed in 1995, and significantly redeveloped under the ownership of McGee Construction Group after 2008 to become a 27-hole facility, featuring an 18-hole main course and a 9-hole academy course, with the redevelopment completed in 2018. The main course, a parkland layout, presents a gently undulating challenge with mature woodlands and water features influencing play. Notably, water comes into play on several holes, adding a strategic element. Despite its history and redevelopment, the club was not a venue for Open Championship Qualifying. Regrettably, Caddington Golf Club ceased golf operations and closed in October 2024.
