Mentmore Golf and Country Club - Rosebery Course
Parkland Course in Leighton Buzzard, England
Mentmore Golf and Country Club, situated in the shadow of the historic Mentmore Towers, was established in 1992 with two 18-hole courses, the Rosebery and the Rothschild, designed by Bob Sandow. The Rosebery, a par 72 measuring over 6,850 yards, is set in rolling parkland with views across the Vale of Aylesbury and towards the Chiltern Hills. Its front nine plays around the perimeter, bordered by mature woodland, including holes parallel to an old bridle path lined with chestnut trees. The back nine features challenging long par 4s and an 18th hole that encourages a strong finish. While the club ceased trading in 2015, it was regarded for its setting and facilities. It has previously been used as a venue for Regional Open Qualifying.
