Horsley Lodge Golf Club, situated in the picturesque Derbyshire countryside in England, is a parkland course established in 1990. The initial design was by Bill White, a retired golf professional. In 1998, the course underwent a significant remodel by Peter McEvoy, a former World Champion golfer. McEvoy's redesign brought the greens up to USGA standards and enhanced the course with new bunkers and lakes. The course, set across 164 acres, features water prominently with two brooks creating various water hazards. A unique aspect of the course is the presence of a Roman road running through it and the incorporation of stones from the old Horsley Castle into the architecture. While not a well-known Open Qualifying location, an amateur golfer affiliated with Horsley Lodge did participate in the 2021 Open Championship Regional Qualifying.
