Nestled on the edge of the Peak District in Derbyshire, Brailsford Golf Course offers a pleasant parkland golf experience. Originally opening in July 1996 as a nine-hole course designed and built by local landowner Craig Dalton, it later expanded to twelve holes in 2006. Further development included the construction of alternate tees for six of the holes, allowing for a full eighteen-hole round. The course features gently undulating terrain with mature trees and several water hazards, providing a test of accuracy. While not a championship venue or a regular host for major professional events like Open Qualifying, it provides an enjoyable round for golfers of varying abilities in a scenic setting. The clubhouse, which opened in 2002, offers a welcoming atmosphere with a bar and food options.
