Allestree Park Golf Club, located in Derby, England, is a parkland course with a notable history. Originally designed by the acclaimed architect Harry Colt and opened in 1929, the course is set within undulating parkland with mature woodlands. Colt was a pioneer in golf course design, known for creating layouts that worked in harmony with the natural landscape. While the club faced potential closure in recent years, efforts have been made to preserve this historic Colt design. The course has been recognized for its historical significance, with Historic England reportedly intending to register it as the first Grade II listed golf course in England. Allestree Park has previously served as an Open Qualifying venue.
