Hill Barn Golf Club, located in Worthing, England, is an 18-hole parkland course set in the South Downs National Park. Designed by Fred Hawtree, who also designed Royal Birkdale, the course opened in 1935. Built on chalk-based soil, the course offers good drainage, allowing for year-round play. It features undulating fairways, subtly sloped greens, and over 100 bunkers. The course has a history of hosting professional tournaments and has been played by notable figures like Peter Alliss and Tony Jacklin. While offering a test for experienced golfers, the course is also designed to be enjoyable for players of all abilities, requiring accuracy and a variety of shots. The club offers views of Worthing, the English Channel, and on clear days, the Isle of Wight.
