Grange Park Golf Club
Parkland Course in St Helens, England
Established in 1891 as St Helens and District Golf Club with an initial 9-hole layout by John Morris, nephew of Old Tom Morris, the club evolved into Grange Park Golf Club in 1911 and expanded to 18 holes. James Braid was later involved in a redesign of the course. Grange Park is a traditional parkland course located near St Helens. Playing to 6509 yards from the medal tees, the course presents a good test, with the greens often cited as a notable defence. The layout offers a pleasant golfing experience away from the nearby industrial landscape. The club has hosted events such as the English Senior Men's County Championship Final.
