Foxhills Club & Resort (Bernard Hunt Course)

The Bernard Hunt course at Foxhills Club & Resort, located in Surrey, England, is one of two 18-hole championship courses at the facility. Originally known as the Chertsey course, it was renamed in honour of Bernard Hunt MBE, a ten-time Ryder Cup player and the club's first head professional. Designed by Fred Hawtree and opened in 1975, the course is set within 400 acres of undulating, tree-lined parkland. While slightly longer than its sister course, the Longcross, the Bernard Hunt is designed to be more forgiving off the tee with a more open feel in places, though still presents a thrilling challenge with strategic bunkering and occasional water hazards. The course has hosted notable events, including the Women's British Open in 1978.
