Childwall Golf Club
Parkland Course in Liverpool, England
Childwall Golf Club, situated in Liverpool, England, is a parkland course with a history dating back to 1912. Originally the Woolton Hall Hydro Golf Club, it relocated to its current site in Gateacre in 1938. The course was designed by renowned architect James Braid and features a distinctive Art Deco clubhouse. The tree-lined fairways demand accuracy, and while generally not severely undulating, some elevation changes can influence play. The course has been an occasional venue for notable amateur events, including the England Golf Northern Boys Championship and the Lancashire County Championship.
