Chester-le-Street Golf Club, established in 1908, is a parkland course nestled in County Durham, England. Designed by Open Champions Alex Herd and Ted Ray, the course has a notable history, having been a favoured location of King George VI before his ascension to the throne. The layout, set against the backdrop of Lumley Castle and alongside the River Wear, presents a blend of undulating and flatter holes, with tree-lined fairways and some strategic water hazards.
