Boldon Golf Club
Parkland Course in East Boldon, England
Boldon Golf Club, established in 1912, is situated near Sunderland in England. Originally a 9-hole layout, the club moved to its current location in 1926 and commissioned six-time Open Champion, Harry Vardon, to design the present 18-hole course. The parkland course, measuring over 6,400 yards from the medal tees with a par of 72, features gentle terrain. Over the years, the course has seen enhancements including a bunker program and tree planting, which now define many of the holes. While not a championship venue, it offers a pleasant and at times challenging round with some elevation providing views of the surrounding area.
