Pontypool Golf Club

Pontypool Golf Club, established in 1903, is a private members club situated above the town of Pontypool in South Wales, offering panoramic views of the Bristol Channel, Eastern Valley, Usk Valley, and the Brecon Beacons. The course is an 18-hole, par 69, measuring between approximately 5712 and 6011 yards depending on the tee. It is described as a challenging heathland and parkland course with narrow, tree-lined fairways, tricky greens, and natural elevation changes. The club has practice facilities including a driving range, chipping and putting greens, and an indoor golf academy with a simulator. Visitors are welcome but should check tee time availability with the Pro Shop, especially on Saturday mornings which are usually reserved for members' competitions.
