Established in 1894, North Wales Golf Club in Llandudno is a traditional links course with a rich history. Founded by Tancred Cummins, with early input from Open Champion Harold Hilton, the course occupies a classic coastal strip on Llandudno's West Shore. The layout presents a varied challenge, running out alongside a railway line before returning along the coastline, featuring characteristically small and sometimes testing greens. The club also has a historical connection to Open Champion John Ball, who offered advice in its formative years. North Wales Golf Club hosted the Welsh Team Championships in 1995.
