Abergele Golf Club
Parkland Course in Abergele, Wales
Founded in 1910 and set within the historic Gwrych Castle estate in Wales, Abergele Golf Club offers a pleasant parkland golf experience. The current course, established in 1968 and originally laid out by Fred W. Hawtree, features tree-lined fairways on a relatively flat and walkable site. The greens were later upgraded to USGA specifications by David Williams, contributing to consistent playing conditions. The course provides picturesque views of the North Wales coastline, particularly from the elevated 18th tee, a notable par-5 finishing hole.
