Nestled in the scenic South Wales landscape on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Glynneath Golf Club offers a blend of parkland and woodland golf. Founded in 1931, the club has a rich history, beginning on rented farmland and officially opening its doors in 1932. The course has evolved over time, with original holes still in play and more recent developments, including the introduction of new holes, shaping its current character. Mature trees are a prominent feature, and strategically placed water hazards and bunkers add challenge to a layout that, while not overly long, provides a good test for golfers of varying abilities. The course is known for its picturesque setting overlooking the Vale of Neath.
