The Williamwood Golf Club

The Williamwood Golf Club, established in 1906 and designed by James Braid, is an 18-hole parkland course located in Netherlee, East Renfrewshire, Scotland, just 15 minutes from Glasgow. Set within 92 acres, the course incorporates original features and has undergone recent improvements, including the creation of a new hole and greater use of existing water features. Known for its scenic layout with mature trees and water hazards, the course offers a challenging yet enjoyable round for golfers of all abilities. It features tree-lined fairways, fast greens, and strategically placed bunkers, providing panoramic views towards Ben Lomond and the Campsie Hills. Notable holes include the par-5 tenth at around 525 yards and the par-3 fourth and thirteenth holes at just over 110 yards each. The club provides various facilities such as a pro shop, practice areas (including a driving range and putting green), changing rooms, and a restaurant/bar. Visitors are welcome Monday to Friday (except public holidays) with advance booking recommended.
