Newburgh-on-Ythan Golf Club, founded in 1888, is an 18-hole links course known as the Championship Links. It is located on the Aberdeenshire coast overlooking the Ythan Estuary and North Sea. The course has a par of 72 and measures 6423 yards from the white tees. Originally a 9-hole course, it was extended to 18 holes in 1996 with a design by Mr McAndrew / Greens of Scotland. The course offers variety, with the newer front nine having a modern feel and the back nine being traditional Scottish links. Facilities include a clubhouse, pro shop, changing rooms, lockers, practice area, driving range, putting green, chipping green, and a restaurant. Golf lessons, buggy hire, and trolley hire are available. Visitors are welcome daily, including weekends.
