Aboyne Golf Club
Parkland/Heathland Course in Aboyne, Scotland
Aboyne Golf Club, the oldest club on Royal Deeside and located on the eastern edge of the Cairngorms National Park in Aboyne, Scotland, is an 18-hole course offering a mix of parkland and heathland challenges. Founded in 1883 and expanded to 18 holes in 1908, the course was updated in the early 1990s with new holes and tree planting. The course features mature trees, water hazards including the Loch of Aboyne, undulating fairways, and tricky greens, providing a test for golfers of all abilities. It measures over 6,000 yards from the medal tees and includes six par three holes. Facilities include a pro shop, practice areas for short game and putting, a clubhouse with a bar and restaurant offering views, changing rooms, and hire services for buggies, trolleys, and clubs. Visitors are welcome, and various membership options are available.
