Lochmaben Golf Club
Parkland Course in Lochmaben, Scotland
Lochmaben Golf Club, founded in 1926 with an original design by James Braid, is a picturesque parkland course in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. Extended to 18 holes in 1995, the course offers a challenging experience with tree-lined fairways and well-placed bunkers, suitable for all handicappers. It is famous for its wildlife and views of the Kirk Loch, with some holes bordering the water, including the signature par 3 8th. The course is well-kept and playable year-round due to excellent drainage. It also features historical connections, encompassing archaeological sites and being located near the site of Robert the Bruce's castle.
