Colvend Golf Club ( Course)
Parkland Course in Dalbeattie, Scotland
Colvend Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located on the Solway Coast in South West Scotland, near Dalbeattie. Founded in 1905, the course was originally designed by Willie Fernie and later re-designed and extended to 18 holes by architects including Dave Thomas and John Souter. It is known for its challenging layout with water features and tree-lined fairways, offering spectacular views towards the Cumbrian Fells and the Isle of Man. The club is widely regarded as friendly and welcomes visitors of all abilities and golf parties. On-site facilities include a clubhouse with catering, changing rooms, a pro shop, practice area, putting green, and rentals for buggies and trolleys.
