Parkland Course in Inverness, Scotland
Inverness Golf Club, established in 1883, is a splendid parkland course located in the heart of the Highland capital, Inverness, Scotland. The course features tree-lined fairways and well-manicured greens, offering an enjoyable and challenging test for golfers of all levels. Originally designed by George Smith and J.J. Fraser, the course underwent alterations by the renowned course designer James Braid. The Mill Burn adds a challenge on several holes, and the course has been used for events like the Northern Open for Scottish golf professionals. Facilities include an 18-hole course, a clubhouse with lounge, restaurant, bars, and locker room facilities, a professional shop offering tuition, a practice ground, a short game practice area, a putting green, and warm-up nets. Visitors are welcome, with handicap certificates required.
