Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club, located on the narrow Chanonry Peninsula in the 'Black Isle' area of Scotland, is one of the oldest golf clubs in the world, with golf being played there since 1702 and the club formally established in 1889. The current 18-hole links course was redesigned by James Braid in 1932 and officially opened in 1935. The course measures up to 6,085 yards from the black tees with a par of 71 and is known for its tight fairways lined with gorse, strategically placed bunkers, and fast, deceptive greens. It offers stunning views of the Moray Firth and Chanonry Point lighthouse. The course has hosted several national championships and has been recognized with awards for being Scotland's Best Golfing Experience (value for money). Visiting golfers are welcome throughout the year.
