Downfield Golf Club is a stunning parkland course located in Dundee, Scotland, recognized as one of the finest inland courses in the UK. Established in 1932, the 18-hole course was originally designed by James Braid, with some holes altered in 1964 and further advice provided by Charles Kenneth Cotton. The course features tree-lined fairways with over 100 different species of trees and has water hazards on seven holes. It has a rich history of hosting prestigious events, including the inaugural Scottish Open in 1972 and Final Qualifying for The Open Championship in 1999 and 2007. Visitors are welcomed and treated as members for the day, with facilities including a driving range, putting green, chipping green, pro shop, restaurant, and changing rooms. The course offers a variety of challenges for golfers of all abilities.
