Cowal Golf Club

Cowal Golf Club, established in 1891 and designed by James Braid and Willie Campbell, is an 18-hole parkland/heathland course located in Dunoon, Argyll, Scotland. The course spans 6063 yards from the white tees and has a par of 70. Situated above the Firth of Clyde on the South-East facing slopes of the Cowal peninsula, it offers spectacular views across the estuary towards the island of Bute and Ailsa Craig. While historically an 18-hole course, it has also been described as a 12-hole course in recent years due to a land sale. The club welcomes visitors and offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience with well-maintained putting surfaces. Facilities include a clubhouse with a bar and restaurant, changing rooms with showers, a pro shop, putting green, practice area, and rentals for clubs, trolleys, and buggies.
