Cathcart Castle Golf Club

Cathcart Castle Golf Club, established in 1895, is a classic James Braid designed parkland course located on the south side of Glasgow. It is one of the oldest clubs in the area and offers picturesque and panoramic views of the city and surrounding countryside. The course is played over undulating terrain and is considered a challenging yet fair test for golfers of all levels. The club welcomes visitors and visiting parties, particularly on weekdays, and offers various golf and catering packages. Facilities include a pro shop, practice areas (putting green, chipping green, and driving range), changing rooms, lockers, and a clubhouse with a restaurant and bar offering a range of food and drinks. Membership options are available, including full adult memberships. The course is known for its tight, tree-lined fairways, well-positioned bunkers, and challenging greens, including the signature third hole, 'Devil's Elbow'.
