Carnoustie Golf Links (Buddon Links Course)

The Buddon Links Course is one of three 18-hole links courses located at Carnoustie Golf Links in Carnoustie, Angus, Scotland. Originally designed by Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas and opened in 1979, the par-68 course offers views of the beach and sea and features holes named after famous battles, having been built on former Ministry of Defence land. The course has undergone significant transformations over the years, including a major investment to add two new holes around 2014, bringing it to its current challenging par 68. While generally shorter than the Championship or Burnside courses, it provides an enjoyable test of golf for various abilities. Carnoustie Golf Links offers a range of facilities including a pro shop, restaurant, practice putting and chipping greens, club hire, golf lessons, lockers, and changing rooms. On-site lodging is also available at the Carnoustie Golf Hotel. Visitors are welcome but advance booking is recommended, and a handicap is advised.
