St. Patrick's Golf Club, formerly Downpatrick Golf Club, is a classic and challenging 18-hole parkland course located in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland. Originally a 9-hole course established in 1930, it was upgraded to an 18-hole championship course in the 1990s, designed by Martin Hawtree. The course measures approximately 6120 yards with a par of 70. It features undulating fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and fast greens, offering a test for golfers of all abilities. Notable holes include the difficult first, the par four seventh with views stretching to the Isle of Man, and the challenging par three eleventh. The course boasts spectacular views of Strangford Lough, the Mountains of Mourne, and the surrounding County Down landscape. Facilities available include a pro shop, putting green, golf club rental, motor carts, pull carts, lockers, changing rooms, and a restaurant. The club is accepting applications for membership and welcomes visitors and societies.
