Bright Castle Golf Club

Bright Castle Golf Club is an 18-hole hilly parkland course located in County Down, Northern Ireland, founded in 1979 and designed by Arnold Ennis. The course offers stunning views of the Mourne Mountains and is situated off the main Downpatrick Killough Road. It was once home to the longest hole in Europe, the par five 6th, which measured 735 yards from the back tees before being shortened to comply with regulations. The course is considered a great test of golf with a variety of holes, including tree-lined fairways, bunkers, obstacles, and a significant dog-leg. Visitors are welcome and expected to adhere to the dress code.
