Kirkistown Castle Golf Club

Kirkistown Castle Golf Club, located in Cloughey, County Down, Northern Ireland, is a traditional links course on the Ards Peninsula. The club was founded in 1902 and the current 18-hole layout, designed by James Braid, was implemented in 1934. The course is known for its elevated tees and greens and is playable year-round due to its sandy base. It has a par of 70 and measures 6,200 yards from the white tees. The course features two loops of nine holes, both starting and finishing at the clubhouse. The signature hole is the par five 10th, “Long Reach”. The clubhouse was extended and refurbished in 2001.
