The Hotchkin Course at Woodhall Spa is a renowned heathland layout in England. Its history dates back to a Harry Vardon design, with significant influence and remodelling by Stafford Vere Hotchkin in the 1920s. More recently, Tom Doak has overseen a restoration project. The course is celebrated for its strategic challenge, defined by extensive heather and particularly deep, penal bunkers. It consistently ranks among the top courses in the world and is the home of England Golf, hosting various amateur championships. It offers a classic inland test of golf.
