Woodhall Spa Golf Club, located in Lincolnshire, England, is home to the National Golf Centre. The club features two highly regarded courses: the Hotchkin and the Bracken. The Hotchkin course, consistently ranked among the world's best heathland layouts, was originally laid out by Harry Vardon in 1905, with significant redesigns by Stafford Vere Hotchkin in the 1920s and a recent restoration led by Tom Doak. It is renowned for its dramatic and challenging bunkers, as well as gorse and heather bordering the fairways. The Bracken course, designed by Donald Steel, opened in 1998 and offers a contrasting, more forgiving test with larger fairways and greens. Woodhall Spa has a strong history of hosting prestigious amateur championships.
