Woburn Golf Club (Duke's Course)

Woburn Golf Club, situated on the historic Woburn Estate in England, is home to three highly regarded courses. The Duke's Course, the eldest of the trio, opened in 1976 and was designed by Charles Lawrie. It is a classic English parkland layout, characterised by fairways framed by mature trees such as pine, silver birch, and chestnut, along with heather, bracken, and gorse providing natural challenges. The course offers a secluded feel, with each hole played in its own environment. While Woburn Golf Club has a strong tournament history, including hosting the Women's British Open multiple times on the Duke's course prior to its major status and Final Qualifying for The Open on the Marquess course, the Duke's itself was not a venue for Open Qualifying. It has consistently featured in lists of top courses in the UK.
