Woburn Golf Club (Duchess' Course)

Woburn Golf Club's Duchess' Course, situated in Milton Keynes, England, is a mature parkland course known for its demanding layout through corridors of pine, silver birch, and chestnut trees. Designed by Charles Lawrie and completed by Donald Steel, the Duchess' Course opened in April 1978. Although slightly shorter than its siblings at Woburn, it places a premium on accuracy due to its narrower fairways and well-guarded greens. The course has been recognized in golf publications' Top 100 courses in the UK and Ireland. While major professional tournaments have often been held on the Duke's and Marquess' courses, Woburn has a history of hosting significant events, including Final Qualifying for The Open from 2014 to 2017 and the English Men's Amateur Championship in 2011, which included qualifying rounds on the Duchess' course.
