Wheatley Golf Club, located in Doncaster, England, is a parkland course with a history dating back to 1914. Originally established at Wheatley Park, the club moved to its current site at Sandall Grange Farm in 1934 when the Doncaster Corporation intended to purchase their property. The present 18-hole course was laid out by the notable Scottish professional and 1920 Open champion, George Duncan. The course is set on gently undulating, sandy-soiled land, providing good natural drainage. It features tree-lined fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and some water hazards, including the Wheatley Stream which comes into play on the 12th hole. The course is known for being relatively compact with several reachable par 5s. While not among the most highly ranked or famous courses in the UK, it offers a pleasant golfing experience on well-maintained ground. There is no indication that Wheatley Golf Club has been an Open Qualifying location.
