Nestled within the ancient Epping Forest, West Essex Golf Club, established in 1900, offers a challenging parkland course with a rich history. Designed by the esteemed James Braid, one of the heralded 'Great Triumvirate' of golf, the course provides a compelling test of golf. The outward nine demands precision with its tree-lined fairways, while the back nine opens up and presents a stern finish. The course is known for its undulating fairways and excellent greens. From elevated points on the front nine, golfers can enjoy expansive views of the London skyline. West Essex has a proud history of supporting junior golf, with their junior squad having achieved national and Home Nations titles. The club has previously been a venue for Open Qualifying.
