Werneth Low Golf Club, established in 1912, is situated to the southeast of Manchester, offering impressive views of the Cheshire Plain, the Peak District National Park, and the Manchester cityscape. The club is known for its distinctive 11-hole parkland course, which is cleverly played as a hybrid 18-hole layout. This design provides flexibility for golfers who may not have time for a full 18 holes, allowing rounds of 7, 9, 11, or 13 holes that conclude back at the clubhouse. The course, while not among the UK's most famous championship venues, presents a good test of golf with varying terrain.
