Nestled in the Suffolk countryside near the River Deben, Waldringfield Golf Course presents a heathland layout known for its free-draining sandy soil, ensuring play is possible for much of the year. Originally established as a 9-hole course in 1983, it was thoughtfully expanded to 18 holes in 1987 by architect Philip Pilgrem. The course offers an enjoyable test for a range of handicaps, featuring gorse and mature trees that shape the holes. While not a championship venue hosting Open Qualifying, it provides a pleasant golfing experience in a picturesque setting.
