Nestled in the Cheshire countryside, Vale Royal Abbey Golf Club presents a contemporary parkland course designed by Simon Gidman, opening for play in 1998. The course is known for its gently rolling terrain and USGA specification greens, which contribute to its reputation as a year-round playable course. The layout features a mix of holes that require strategic shot-making, including a par four with a water-fronted green, a par three that is the only short hole on the front nine, and a doglegged finishing hole. While not consistently ranked among the very top courses in the UK, it is considered one of the finer courses in the North West of England. The course has also served as a venue for Open Qualifying events in the past.
