Sandiway Golf Club, located in Cheshire, England, is a highly-regarded heathland and woodland course with a rich history. Established in 1920, the original layout was designed by Ted Ray, the 1912 Open Champion. Harry Colt made alterations in 1925, and later, Fred Hawtree redesigned several holes in 1955 due to road widening. The course is known for its tree-lined fairways, strategic doglegs, and small, well-protected greens. Sandiway has a history of hosting significant amateur and professional events, including Open Championship Regional Qualifying in 1969. The course measures around 6,400 yards from the back tees and plays to a par of 70, offering a stern test of accuracy and skill.
