Tracy Park, near Bath, is home to the Crown Course, one of two 18-hole layouts on the historic estate. The estate itself has a long history, dating back to 1246, with the mansion house evolving over centuries. It transitioned into a golf and country club hotel in 1974, following its sale after being a private residence for many years. The Crown Course is set within mature parkland, offering a challenging test of golf that requires strategic play and accuracy, particularly on the tree-lined holes with smaller greens. It has been recognised with an HSBC Golf Monthly Gold Award. The course is reported to measure 6201 yards with a par of 69. While the club has faced recent challenges and was put up for sale, with plans to convert it back to a private residence, its history as a golf venue is intertwined with theTracy Park estate's lengthy past.
