Warrington Golf Club, established in 1903, is situated on elevated land to the south of Warrington, offering expansive views across the Cheshire countryside towards the Pennines and Welsh hills. The course's original layout is attributed to James Braid, with subsequent alterations made over the years. It is generally considered a parkland course with undulating fairways and natural hazards, providing a test for golfers of various abilities. While a respected club, it is not listed as a venue that has hosted Open Championship Qualifying.
