Nestled within 300 acres of rolling Worcestershire countryside, The Vale Golf Club features the International course, an 18-hole parkland layout designed by Robert Sandow, which opened for play in 1991. The course is known for its considerable length, stretching to over 7,500 yards from the back tees. It plays to a par of 74, with a front nine of 38 and a back nine of 36. The design incorporates two returning nine-hole loops. While not a traditional Open Championship Qualifying venue, the course does host various amateur open competitions. Key holes include the par-three 3rd, consecutive par-fives at the 8th and 9th, the lengthy par-five 16th with its peninsula green, and the demanding dogleg left 18th where water guards the putting surface. The course is set within a natural amphitheatre of mature woodland, offering scenic views.
