Droitwich Golf Club, situated in the picturesque Worcestershire countryside, has a history dating back to 1897 when it was a 9-hole course on Bays Meadow. The layout was later redesigned and extended to 18 holes by the renowned golf course architect James Braid, with the first sod of the expanded course laid in November 1923. The course occupies over 100 acres and provides a good test for golfers of all abilities. While not among the UK's top-ranked courses or a frequent Open Qualifying venue, it offers a pleasant parkland golf experience with some undulating terrain. The course measures just over 6,000 yards from the back tees and plays to a par of 70.
