The Tytherington Club (The Tytherington)
Parkland Course in Macclesfield, England
Nestled in the undulating Cheshire parkland with views towards the Peak District, The Tytherington Club features an 18-hole championship golf course. Designed by Dave Thomas and opened in 1986, it was one of the UK's first custom-built golf and health clubs. The course is known for its gently rolling terrain, mature woodland, and strategic hazards, including over 100 bunkers and eight water features, providing a demanding yet enjoyable test for golfers of all abilities. The club was previously a venue for the Ladies European Tour for a decade. Jonathan Gaunt has undertaken recent work on the course, including bunker remodelling and drainage improvements.
